Bronze age Mutant Ninja Turtle opts out of debt limit talks

July 12, 2011 4 comments

Bronze Age Mutant Ninja Turtle Mitch McConnell just can not put his name to the destruction of the World economy so desired by the drooling Tea-baggers he helped to elect in 2010.

After swimming through their tongue drippings McConnell has come up with a plan that could avoid him getting shot at by lunatics on his side. The Tea Party Terrorists of course want him hung drawn and quartered as a result and if it were a liberal site, “Red State” would be getting a visit from the men in black. They want him burnt in effigy. Of course as they are Rethugs they are more likely to burn themselves and end up as a blue suicide statistic.

Of course as a Rethug articles like this are perfectly acceptable to “leftist” media CNN.

The current Bronze Age Mutant Ninja Turtle proposal is to revert to from. Deficits do not matter. Even if it is a Democratic President. Republicans would agree to make a series of three debt ceiling votes this year, but the default on each of those votes would be that the debt ceiling would get raised unless the House and Senate denied the move by a 2/3rds vote. And that isn’t likely to happen, which means they all go through.

No cuts. No tax rises. No billionaire tax-loopholes closed. No need for Tea-baggers to propose second amendment solutions.

All proposals to increase the deficit would therefore be blamed on the President. The debt limit would be blamed entirely on the President and the Democratic Party. The Bronze Age Mutant Ninja Turtle could live with what he considers a conscience and happily blame the liberals.

“Remarkable”

Dear Mr. President,

I am most grateful for the graciousness and kindness you have shown me and my family – particularly your confidence in my ability to represent you in China. Mary Kaye and I will begin our journey tomorrow – leaving behind a state we love – but also anticipating an extraordinary experience in Beijing. You are a remarkable leader – and it has been a great honor getting to know you.

Jon

So just what will the teabaggers do with this?

Republiscums discover Santorum has a google problem

June 15, 2011 2 comments

PoorRepubliscum and idiot Hillbuzzard. I hope it has given lots of money to our Kevin, he’s being feeling sad and lonely lately.

Good morning Bridget & all of you wonderful HillBuzzers! I really like Rick Santorum and thought he did a great job in Monday’s debate. I wanted to do a new post about why he is the most qualified candidate in the current field, but I got derailed & was deeply saddened by all the hate I saw when I tried to research him. I don’t care what your political ideology is, the degrading defamation of Rick Santorum’s very name IS an attack on our entire society, even our children, because it is now completely unsafe to allow a child to do any sort of online research about candidates for POTUS. This man has children and now their names have become x-rated horrors. The guy behind the atrocity is, ironically, the guy behind the “it gets better” so called anti-bullying campaign that Obama supports & made a video for. An anti-bullying campaign by the most vicious cyber bully in America.
People are rightly outraged against smears of Sarah Palin, but where are the people denouncing the most brutal attack on an American politician ever? Please read & share my post about it:http://zillablog.marezilla.com/2011/06/stand-with…
I think the lack of coverage of Rick Santorum’s excellent credentials is a direct result of this nasty bullying – people are afraid to even use the man’s name because of what those vile hateful jackals have done. I would even denounce such an attack if it were directed at Obama (who I can’t stand) because it is so over the top evil and cruel. All decent people need to stand up against this, or you’ll see more of the same and not just against RS.

Of course no mention of Santorum is complete without a direct link to the definition of Santorum. We should all spread the definition of Santorum.

http://www.spreadingsantorum.com /

And if you ever wanted to be reminded why this nasty man became associated with a rather nasty substance, this wiki article  should remind you.

In an April 7, 2003 interview with the Associated Press, Santorum stated, “If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual [gay] sex within your home, then you have the right tobigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery. You have the right to anything. Does that undermine the fabric of our society? I would argue yes, it does.”[13][14][15][16] Santorum further stated that he believed consenting adults do not have a constitutional right to privacy with respect to sexual acts.[17] He stated regarding the concept of marriage within the law, “In every society, the definition of marriage has not ever to my knowledge included homosexuality. That’s not to pick on homosexuality. It’s not, you know, man on child, man on dog, or whatever the case may be. It is one thing.”[18][19]

To the Republlicant Santorum fan, this nasty bigot is associated with rather messy slime because like most homophobic Republicants, it is a disgustingly slimy individual.

People will stop linking the Santorum to the slimy messy substance, should that slimy messy substance stop using his place in Party politics as a platform to spread homophobia.

Well there is not that much else you can say about Santorum, it leaves a nasty mess on the sheets and the real one is comfortable in a white one.

There is nothing you can say about Santorum and education policy, Santorum like all Rethugs wants tax cuts for billionaires and services cut for everyone else. Santorum has no real foreign policy except hate everyone.

It is really difficult to write an article about Santorum, the man who makes the Taliban look good on the rights of women and gays

$5,317 – too rich to receive medicaid according to the Governor who spent that on one trip.

June 2, 2011 8 comments

Let them eat dirt

The Republican Governor who spent over $5000 of taxpayers money travelling to see his son play a sports game thinks that level of salary should disqualify you from medicaid.

The man who gave 16,000 of New Jersey’s richest residents a tax cut worth over $1billion a year wants to gut the program provided to 23,000 of the poorest residents in the State.

Christie, who was the keynote speaker at the recent National Republicans $1000 a plate dinner is proposing to slash Medicaid eligibility from the current maximum income of $24,645 to $5,317 a year for a family of three. This from the same Party that fought tooth and nail a plan to extend healthcare to 45 million extra Americans.

Republicans have lauded him with praise and believe that he represents the future of their Party.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie catapulted onto the national stage when he defeated incumbent Governor Jon Corzine after a bitter campaign. As governor, Christie has proven himself a true conservative, taking on big union bosses and working tirelessly to reduce budget deficits in New Jersey without raising taxes. His ability to balance the will of the people with New Jersey politics has turned him into a leader that Republicans across the country support, as he made appearances for many high profile campaigns this past election cycle.

Adults in a family of three that makes as little as $103 a week would earn too much to qualify for health care provided by Medicaid under the plan proposed by Christie. $5,317 is a third of the poverty level. Never mind the uninsured worker employed full time for minimum wage, they wouldn’t qualify, under the Christie plan even a parent working half-time for minimum wage would fail to qualify.

The only other way to qualify would be to go on welfare, creating an impossible poverty trap. If you leave welfare you better find a job with good health coverage, or you are on your own.

Remember this man is the Republican dream candidate. The future of the GOP.

Chris Christie – living high on the hog

Chris Christie - living it large

Fiscal Conservatism only applies to the little people with the GOP of today.

Chris Christie created a financial black-hole for the State of New Jersey by cutting taxes for the richest 16,000 New Jersey residents. He then cut taxes for them again, and only few days after saying New Jersey is so broke it must cut medical benefits for retirees and permanently freeze their pensions Christie said he wanted more tax cuts for the richest in New Jersey (note – not for everyone – just the richest). Middle-class families lost their property tax rebates so they faced tax hikes.

Schools lost nearly $1 billion in funding, their biggest hit ever. Thousands of working poor families were closed out of health care programs.State scholarship programs were run dry – removing the very ladder that helped turn the “American Dream” in to a reality. The incompetence of his Office cost the State another £400 million in Federal Revenues for schools.

All of that makes him a hero to the Republican Party. His tax cuts to the richest 16,000 New Jersey residents cost the City over $1billion. 10% of New Jersey budget revenues.

So while slashing services for the poorest and taxes for the richest what does the man who is bankrupting New Jersey do? He used a state helicopter to ferry him to his a high school baseball game his son was playing in. That wasn’t enough, even though a Governor’s helicopter arriving at a school would have been a whale of an entrance, the Governor decided that the 100 yard walk between the helicopter and the match was too much. So he ordered a limo to drive him that extra 100 yards. He then got bored of the match and walked off, via the pitch stopping play.

He then took that same ride back to meet some of the 16,000 richest New Jersey residents for a Republican fund raiser, that also involved Iowa’s top Republicans encouraging him to enter the Presidential race. The dinner was nothing to do with State business.

The spokesman for the Governor declared – there was nothing inappropriate.

Hmmm. I seem to remember Christie thought there was nothing inappropriate about billing the taxpayers of New Jersey $400 a night for hotel stays either. Remember it is ok if you are a Republican.

The DNC hits back – Republican “moderates” would have let Detroit go bankrupt.

Tim Pawlenty releases his campaign video

It is becoming increasingly difficult to spot the difference between campaign videos for Republican Primary candidates.

Tim Pawlenty released his campaign video in a celebration of all that is black and white.

Sorry wrong video, that one may have been more honest about Republican plans for the US economy. I think this is the proper one but it is hard to tell the difference as all they seem to have added is music, balloons and an attack on those music and balloons.

So yet another Republican is promising a land of milk and honey, provided that enough ordinary people slash their benefits to give tax cuts to billionaires. Pawlenty is calling Republican voters stupid and he hopes to bilk them for money.

His campaign has about as much chance of happening as the “rapture” that was also promised to GOP fundies.

His qualification for GOP Presidential candidate, he isn’t the idiot that named their sons after an athletic event, Track Enfield, or the disability Trisomy G.

Forty-one Republicans beg President Obama to make GOP medicare plans secret

May 12, 2011 5 comments

Republicants have written to President Obama asking him to call off Democratic Party attacks on their plan to replace medicare with voucherless vouchers.

Forty-one Republican freshmen, elected with the support of the Tea Party Terrorists begged President Obama to let their plans stay secret.

Re: Your Vote to End Medicare Is Here to StayWe know it’s hard for you to accept the anger over your vote to end Medicare as we know it, but holding a press conference to ask the American people to ignore your irresponsible vote is, frankly, a bit puzzling. You defended your vote just two weeks ago, but you didn’t like what you got back from your constituents. It’s time to take responsibility for your actions.

Re: The Truth Hurts — You Did Vote to End Medicare as We Know It

Just half a day after Speaker Boehner said he wants to engage in “honest conversations about how best to preserve Medicare” (ie: the GOP’s plan to end Medicare as we know it), you are trying to silence criticism of your vote supporting the plan.

From Politico:

A group of House Republican freshmen, tired of getting hammered on Medicare, is leading a fresh protest against Democrats’ tactics on the senior citizen health care program.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger sent a letter to the White House Tuesday signed by 41 of his classmates “calling on President Obama to end the ‘MediSCARE’ tactics,” according to a release today…

The latest freshman demonstration comes just weeks after some of the new members faced tough questions from constituents in town halls after their vote to alter Medicare by turning it into a program that provides federal subsidies for the purchase of private plans. Some of the freshmen who made headlines for their raucous town halls, including Pennsylvania Reps. Pat Meehan and Lou Barletta, and Florida’s Allen West, signed onto the letter.

Sometimes the truth hurts.

House Republicans voted for a GOP budget that:

Ends Medicare as we know it.

Forces seniors to pay over $6,000 more a year.

Requires a 54-year-old today to save an additional $182,000 in his or her retirement account, or $250 a week, just to pay the costs of the plan.

Democrats have a plan to ensure older Americans have access to affordable, high quality care – it’s called Medicare and it currently serves more than 46 million Americans.

We are committed to preserving Medicare—not ending it. Will the GOP finally join us?

Republicants responded with oh please let us get away with this so we can cut taxes for billionaires. They are so hard pressed.

Family values – seriously?
